New York - Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of

I'm still phasing out of the holiday mood, and this is the worst part of the vacation, :'( sigh...

But takpe, I think sharing some of the things I've learnt & enjoyed from the trip wouldn't hurt no, maybe someone else out there cud learn a few things or two, who knows =)

Anyway - have you heard of that song - Empire State of Mind (by Jay-Z feat Alicia Keys)? It was the frequent tune while we were there... throughout the entire trip, i thought it was Rihanna, bila google2 tak jumpa baru tau it's not her haha... catchy song though, felt so like in New York everytime I hear it back... ooo, the title of this entry is part of the lyrics - just so u know hehe..

So there's 5 boroughs (as what they call it) altogether - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island & Queens... All frequently mentioned in SATC (manhattan & Brooklyn), Jenny fr the block song (Bronx) and Betty (Queens)... Staten Island, I rarely heard of though... kuat kan pengaruh TV ni, I am so not into reading, most of my general knowledge comes from TV series, if they lied, I'd be lieing too :p picture below googled

As we stayed in the Upper West Manhattan, we didn't go to all five - only down to Brooklyn (by subway) & up to the Bronx (while driving). Manhattan is big enough though, didn't really had the chance to complete the tour throughout the island... one week is just ain't enough!
